about

The Singing Bowl Orchestra performs Reflections by Alex Scott at the Foresight Centre Chapel, Liverpool. In addition to a collection of 58 Tibetan singing bowls this composition also uses a smaller collection of wind chimes and Tingsha prayer bells to create a piece that is both meditative and dramatic. The use of microtonal harmonies recalls the music of Ligeti, Cage, Scelsi, Penderecki and Lutoslawski.
